Two great destinations — in two different parts of the city
These are Grande Prairie's flagship recreation spots, and they're often mentioned together — but they're in different locations, so plan them separately.
Eastlink Centre — about a 10–12 minute drive
At 10 Knowledge Way on the city's south side, the Eastlink Centre is a major recreation complex with pools, waterslides, a FlowRider surf wave, climbing wall, gyms and fieldhouse. Check the City of Grande Prairie's website for public swim and FlowRider schedules before you go, and plan roughly a 10–12 minute drive from the hotel.
Muskoseepi Park — Bear Creek, close to the hotel
Muskoseepi — Cree for "Bear Creek" — runs the length of the city with year-round walking and biking trails, ponds and picnic areas. The trail corridor is a short distance from the hotel (ask the front desk for the nearest access point); the main pavilion area is a short drive south. Winter brings outdoor skating and snowshoe-friendly paths.
Perfect for active stays
Families combine an Eastlink afternoon with the hotel waterslide at night; runners and dog-walkers use the Bear Creek corridor daily. Ask the front desk for current Eastlink public swim times and trail conditions.
